Serving others is an important part of a Christian’s life. At Woodlyn Baptist Church, there are numerous opportunities to serve others.
God’s Special People – We offer a special Sunday School program for mentally and physically challenged people.

Nursing Home Visitation – On the first Sunday of each month at 2:30 PM we provide a church service for the residents of the ManorCare Health Services.
E-Team – Our E-Team (Evangelism Team) plans events to share the Gospel with others.
Children’s Choir – Children’s Choir is for children ages 4 through 5th grade. They rehearse every Sunday morning at the beginning of the Children’s Church time. Throughout the year they sing songs of praise and/or play beginners hand bells during the Sunday morning worship service.
Care and Share – This ministry links members in need with those who are willing to provide meals, babysitting, lawn care, or other acts of service
Visitation – Our visitation team is available to visit those who need prayer or encouragement either at home or in the hospital.
Adult Choir – The adult choir is open to all singers ages 18 and up. The group rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm and provides special music during the Sunday morning worship service from September through June.
Praise Team – The praise team leads the congregation in songs during the morning worship service. Musicians and vocalists practice at 8:30 pm on Thursday evenings and 8:30 am on Sunday mornings.
Short Term Missions – Our church has sent many individuals and teams on short term mission trips over the years. Stay posted for news of upcoming opportunities!
